Vita
Hifza Irfan has been a lecturer and PhD student of Sociology at Quaid-I-Azam University in Islamabad since February 2021. Her PhD project is titled ‘Reflexive Motorization and Road Safety: An Analysis of Risk Society’. She is currently working on multiple research projects, both at a national and an international level. Her project themes include road safety, exchange marriages and solid waste management. She has taken part in a Canadian study of human law, the DAAD Virtual Academic Exchange Program, and De:link // Re:link, where she worked with Dr. Muhammad Zaman during a fellowship in 2023.
